Urban Ethnic Market was established in July 2017 with the aim of being the Premier African Supermarket in South Africa. Over time, we have increased our offering to include Caribbean and West Indies groceries.
We not only have a physical store in Blackheath/Cresta, Johannesburg but also a vibrant online store, serving customers who may not be able to make purchases in-store. We also have a wholesale department dealing with our imports and distribution chain, from where we distribute to various retailers all across South Africa.
Taking into account the vibrant social life of Africans, we also cater to events such as weddings, birthdays, parties etc.
We strive to constantly grow our collection and remain the premier Afro-Caribbean store in South Africa.
